5 stars are far too few! A huge thank you to Christine and her hard-working team, who gave us a great time in the summit house. In addition to really delicious food (we had a snack, pancake soup, roast pork, Kaiserschmarrn and delicious parish duck the next day), we received so much hospitality and warmth that it was a real pleasure. The bedrooms are simple and very neat, as are the washrooms. Everything tip-top👍👍👍 in short, a thousand thanks for everything, it was wonderful. 😊😀🌞

Ideal for a snack or a break in between. The menu is at the entrance, if you pass by carelessly you have to rush off again and read. Otherwise everything fits.

Everything perfect. We were nice hosts from October 2nd to October 4th, 2020 even if the boss sometimes comes across as very decisive, she didn't mean it that way. Food was also 👍🏻.

Very nice hut with a magnificent view. The operator trio (Christina, Petra and Rudi) are very nice. The rooms and sanitary facilities are simple, as you would expect from a mountain hut, but clean. The food (selection and quality) is great. The prices are more than reasonable. Overall, there is nothing to complain about. I will definitely come here more often.

Super fantastic panoramic view of the whole mountain pep slightly below. If you enter from the bottom and the weather is nice, come here, rest and eat, not at the cable car station. There is a good spot when it rains. Here they will serve you good Bavarian food and drink. And the views. A good place for those who have left and want to go a bit more difficult way. Latschekopf may be the target. A path for medium dry riders. Above the bar, there is a cross to which everyone goes.

The great location with a wonderful view and the cleanliness of the mountain house speak for the Brauneck summit house. But what really spoiled our stay is the unfriendly couple! We felt like underage people, we were reprimanded and served completely rude! These operators did not understand the word "guest" in host. We never felt comfortable and accordingly consumed little there! There are much better and friendlier hosts in the vicinity - here, for example, the Quengeralm or the Stiealm could be mentioned and absolutely recommended! The summit house will not see me again anytime soon and I hope that the operators will at some point be taught by the guest to behave differently towards them! In fact, I have already seen many inns and hosts - but this is classified at the bottom of the range. The only exception was a nice employee who I wish that she wouldn't let the operator couple take her good mood away!

The summit house is undoubtedly in a great location, but it has a very unfriendly couple of owners. Either they had a bad weekend, which can be true, but nsn should be able to keep the good tone towards the paying customers !! It was not like that ... you felt like a school child, because you were disciplined at everything (the rooms were first assigned incorrectly, instead of double rooms the mattress dormitory, seat cushions in the dining room should be adjusted again after leaving, shoes should be put down correctly, Plates and cutlery back to the counter, at breakfast the third slice of bread was refused ... etc ..) Some of these are little things that you can say as an innkeeper, but the tone matters. And what is not possible at all is that you rightly ask the guests to bring the garbage back down to the valley, but you yourself burn whole yellow sacks behind the house? !! For comparison, the Stie-Alm (hut approx. 1 km further) owners were far friendlier and the food was a tad better!

So what an experience, real mountain hut but what a view. Spicy climb with all your stuff, but well worth it.

Beautiful cottage for ski touring in Brauneck, service of Hüttenleut is great, I'm always happy there, unfortunately too rare

Nice restaurant, love to come here. The summit house team is also great (especially our landlady and the landlord). Food is delicious, especially the currywurst. Soups a bit small. Great view! Will come back soon for a ski tour or to stop for a day of skiing.

The beauty is around! The place is awesome. In the hut you can spend the night, take a shower, eat. The hosts are friendly, nice people. I advise you to get to the cabin by cable car. Walking is difficult. There are a lot of scenic routes around the hut. The only negative is the lack of sound insulation. If you like to sleep longer, then you are unlikely to succeed.

Bad coffee!

The large mountain range is comfortable according to the signs in about 3 hours. to run. Attention should be paid to sturdy footwear, as the paths sometimes require surefootedness.

Bed, Room ok. But boss only medium friendly. Dinner very questionable and not comparable to a good accommodation in the mountains.
